Fourth graders at Whiting Lane Elementary School have the opportunity to visit the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History to deepen their knowledge of Connecticut history which is part of the grade 4 WHPS curriculum. Students will tour the museum to analyze artifacts, maps and pictures as well as engage in hands-on activities. They will also have the opportunity to participate in a question/answer session with the museum historians. Lastly, they will incorporate this experience and newly gained knowledge into their “All About Connecticut” research project.
