Fourth graders at Whiting Lane Elementary School have the opportunity to visit the CT Historical Society to deepen their knowledge of Connecticut history which is part of the grade 4 WHPS curriculum. Students will tour the museum to analyze artifacts, maps and pictures as well as engage in hands-on activities. They will also have the opportunity to participate in a question/answer session with the museum historians. Lastly, they will incorporate this experience and newly gained knowledge into their "All About Connecticut" research project.
