This experience will provide 4th graders at Charter Oak International Academy concrete, hands on, and real world experiences that allow them to comprehend the complex functions and structures of CT government during a visit to the Connecticut Historical Society in Hartford. This will be followed by a visit to the State Capitol to meet with local government representatives and to tour the building.
