The Biotechnology for All grant will allow students at Hall High School to conduct DNA extraction, the Nobel Prize winning process of Polymerase Chain Reaction, and visualize genotypes using real human DNA. In parallel, students will explore the practice and ethical ramifications of the exponential developments in the biotech space including elective and medical editing of human DNA, resurrecting extinct species, and engineering climate change resilient crops.
