Students from Morley elementary school will have a shared cultured experience when they attend a matinee performance of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at The Bushnell Theater. Fifth grade students will read the book which will lay the necessary foundation for understanding the plot in two mediums. In addition to experiencing a live performance and reading the book, students will be asked to create a written piece of work comparing and contrasting the two pieces of work.
