Mindfulness practices improves student learning and build morale. It also helps to help promote a positive school environment and provide strategies for at risk students. This grant at Whiting Lane Elementary School will allow this school to purchase Mind UP! Curriculum books & childrens books on mindfulness. This grant supports the K-5 common core standards foundation of citizenship and civic virtue.
