Twelve iPod Shuffles (2GB) along with appropriate audio books will be purchased for 4th grade students at Whiting Lane. Students will focus on syntax and appropriate phrasing while listening repeatedly (same text multiple times) to predetermined text levels. Teachers will preload appropriate leveled reading material on the iPod Shuffle designated for the students’ reading levels. The goal is to have the iPod’s color coded for specific reading levels.
