The STARS Leadership Program will target 45 Conard High School students identified as at-risk who struggle with academic, attendance and behavior due to family and personal circumstances. This grant will serve as a follow up to the STARS Pilot program that was created to foster self-confidence, increase motivation, and to engage students in service learning experiences. The ultimate goal of the STARS Leadership Program is to identify an interest, talent or area of specialty for each of the participating 45 students in the alternative high school setting.
