The STRIVE program serves a diverse population of special education students, including a significant number of students considered "at-risk" due to a variety of emotional/behavioral challenges. Our community is built on fostering positive relationships between staff and students and utilizes shared activities to build skills. Being awarded a grant to fund a pool table will support student engagement through a shared interest, teach turn taking, the value of healthy competition and connectedness.
