Cantor Family Grant: It's a Girl: An in-depth look at modern day gendercide through a documentary film

Modern World History classes at Hall High School will have the opportunity to view the school version of the documentary “It’s a Girl” addressing modern day gendercide and genocide, a topic addressed within the curriculum. The students will also have the opportunity for an interactive discussion and question and answer session with one of the film’s producers. As a result, students will create an on-line presentation or analytical paper evaluating this issue and partake in a school wide campaign to inform other students and encourage them to take action through a letter writing campaign
