In this grant, Charter Oak International Academy students in grades 1-4 will participate in a variety of engaging and informative hands-on activities with science educator, Mike Caouette. Students will learn science content and the scientific method that will conncect with their science units. Students will build both conceptual understanding and science vocabulary to extend their learning. They will see the real-world applications of what they are doing. These interactive experiences will spark students' interest in and curiosity about science, helping them to engage more deeply into classroom inquiries related to these topics.
