Carson Family Grant: A Close Look at CT History

Fourth grade students from Whiting Lane and Smith STEM Elementary schools will experience the rich history of CT in person as they tour the CT State Capitol and Legislative Buildings. In addition, they will sit in the Supreme Court gallery and hear about the important decisions that change our lives. Lastly, students will have the opportunity to examine historical artifacts that provide details regarding how our state has evolved over the years. This enriching experience will provide students with the opportunity to ask questions and share their knowledge with State of CT experts and each other.
