This grant will provide students the ability to access appropriate attire for interviewing opportunities while attempting to secure gainful employment. The majority of our students come from families living at or below the poverty level, often struggling to make ends meet. Many of our students are of working age and would like to help out their families financially by earning their own money to cover everyday costs associated with being an adolescent in today's world. Our students have worked hard to build their soft employment skills and are motivated to enter the workforce but many of them do not have access to appropriate clothing and personal hygiene products for daily use. This grant will allow our students to clear the hurdle of financial burden by leveling the playing field, providing a much needed confidence boost to attain gainful employment.
