Ginny Lowe Connors will be poet in residence for five days at Sedgwick Middle School during National Poetry Month. Sixth, seventh and eighth grade students will experience Mrs. Connors a former middle-school teacher and published poet who also runs a small poetry press conducting workshops with the students during the month of April. The culminating project will either be a Poetry Slam with students reading their poems or an anthology of poems, printed for all participants and copy given to the library.
