A pug mill is a necessary piece of equipment for an economical, efficient and safe ceramics studio where students learn about all aspects of the ceramic process including recycling, reusing and de-airing the clay. This grant will fund the purchase and installation of a pug mill in the art department at Conard High School. The pug mill will be a permanent piece of equipment and will provide many years of use for the art department.
