Duncaster Retirement Community Grant: No Limits Balloon Adventure!

In our No Limits Balloon Adventure, fourth grade students in an American Sign Language (ASL) group at our school will be part of a team that will fill a meteorological balloon with helium and launch it. Students will communicate through Google Meet with partner students from the American School for the Deaf (ASD) to explain how they are creating their payload and talk with the students about their ideas about the balloon construction. Students will also review wind patterns to determine the bst date for flight and decide together what the best launch date will be. Students from ASD will travel to our school for the launch and meet their parnter students on the day of the launch.
