In 2 years the PCR based diagnostic test has become a reality as salient to young people as social media. With the funding of a BioRAD T100 PCR machine, biology students will be able to run a real PCR, on real DNA, as they gain practical and theoretical understanding of the revolutionary, Nobel Prize winning process of PCR (polymerase chain reaction) In 2022, students should not leave high school without knowing how to understand, and do, a PCR.
