This grant funds the purchase of Ergo Seats which will be shared by the students in all 3rd and 4th grade classes at Norfeldt Elementary School. The Ergo Seats allow active seating - continuous small movements forward, back and side to side. They strengthen muscles and develop stamina in all students but in particular students who need to be active during instruction. Active seating supports student learning with an increase in focus, maintenance of attention, fewer off task moments and more productive use of time.
