Falvey Linen and Uniform Supply Grant: Launching Literacy with the Nutmeg Nominees

Funding this grant will allow the grant writer to purchase abundant copies of the 2019 Nutmeg Intermediate Book Award Nominees. Using these books, there will be several literacy activities and programs o?ered to all fourth and ?fth grade students at Norfeldt Elementary School. Planned activities include a weekly student enrichment book club and a monthly evening parent-child book club. The primary goal of this project is to increase the number of students reading, discussing and sharing their opinions about quality literature.
