Fourth grade students at Norfeldt Elementary School will experience STEM in a new way by designing sail cars! Students will design their own car, sail design and sail material and test their cars to see which will go the furthest. Students will apply the Engineering Design Process as they learn about variables such as gravity, force, friction, air pressure, measurement and speed. They will be amazed as they "Sail Away with STEM"!
