Frankie & Bob Goldfarb Grant: The Madrigal-A Window to the World of Renaissance

Over 200 Hall High School music students will work with the Western Wind Vocal Ensemble during a one day in-residence program. Students involved in the three large ensembles and three smaller chamber groups will work with members of Western Wind during workshops focusing on understanding the madrigal as a musical form, its history and intent as well as inherent performance skills. The day will culminate with an evening concert for the public featuring the students in varying ensembles and the Western Wind Vocal Ensemble.
