Dennis Vanasse, a special education teacher and author, will present a program at Wolcott Elementary School that recognizes differences in students and promotes social acceptance. As an author in-residence, Mr. Vanasse will deliver three presentations to the school population: grades K-1, 2-3 and 4-5. Each presentation will be tailored to meet the interests and needs of the group while engaging the audience with personal interactions and involvement. The two books he has written, “Stand Tall Against Bullying” and “I am Special Too” will be available for pre-ordering and the author will be available for signing.
