This program will be offered to those students who have qualifying specified learning disabilities (in the above mentioned grades/programs) and have an Individual Education Plan or 504 Plan. 250 annual licenses of Google Read&Write will be purchased and allocated, and training and on-going supports will be offered by the district's Assistive Technology Specialists.Read&Write for Google Chrome offers a wide range of powerful support tools to help students gain confidence with reading, writing, studying and research. They can hear words, passages, or whole documents read aloud with easy-to-follow dual color highlighting. Using the dictionaries they can see the meaning of words explained with text and pictures. They can hear text translated into other languages.
