Canon Cameras, Binoculars, a Trail Camera and IPADs will be purchased for use outdoors to motivate Whiting Lane K-5 children to inquire about their environment in ways that will bring about new knowledge and concern for the natural world. Children will take nature walks with a piece of technology that gives them the capability to identify specimens, research them, and report their findings to real scientists in the world who are gathering data for their studies of biodiversity and land conservation is doing school work for a reason, and a reason that affects everyone on the planet.
