Licensed Music Therapist Emily Bevelaqua, of Emily Bevelaqua Music Therapy Services, will visit each of the PK classrooms at Webster Hill twice a month throughout the 2025-2026 school year to provide music and movement programming with a focus on storytelling and literacy skills. Three Pre-Kindergarten classrooms consisting of 48 students of varying developmental levels will benefit from this specialized program. Young children learn best through play, movement, imitation, and music. The students will have the opportunity to engage in music and movement sessions with a primary focus on language and literacy through singing, instrument play, creative dance, and mindful music listening. PK is fortunate and excited to enrich their learning utilizing music, another learning modality, to enhance skills relating to storytelling and literacy.
