Goldbeck Family Grant: Land and Sea, Them and Me

Land and Sea, Them and Me is a grant which allows 48 Webster Hill Pre-Kindergarten students to take part in multiple diverse learning experiences. Westmoor Park and Mystic Aquarium will visit with animals and marine life, allowing the students to develop an understanding and respect of creatures, habitats and the impact we can have on them. Traveling to Moscarillo's Garden Shoppe and touring the greenhouses will teach the students how to grow plants for healthy eating and about sustaining wildlife. Books, mammal and sea life replicas purchased through this grant will enhance all of these experiences. Through all of these interactions, young children will develop a deeper understanding of the natural world around them growing into more responsible stewards.
