Pollinator Paradise: A Living/Learning Courtyard Garden is a whole school learning project at Webster Hill Elementary School enhancing our outdoor learning courtyard, building upon the structures we currently have in place. Included are new native planting for the garden to attract a variety of species, educational signage, and new pathways for visitors to travel. These enhancements will continue to provide a rich learning environment for our school population to take part in and be responsible for creating an ecosystem that will support and encourage these species to thrive. This project will continue to provide opportunities to develop an awareness of the natural world around us, helping the next generation to develop stewardship. Many of our pollinators are endangered and may become extinct. This grant allows us to nurture the garden courtyard to do our part to provide a healthy viable environment for the pollinators.
