Musician, songwriter and West Hartford Public School graduate Kate Callahan will work with 10th and 11th grade English students at Hall High School in a series of workshops designed to inspire them to explore world and community issues along with their own creative interests. The students will be engaged in all aspects of the writing process resulting in an anthology of student poetry, short stories and essays. The grant will culminate in a two day presentation/performance of student writing in June.
