A document camera will be purchased for use by the first grade teachers at Wolcott Elementary School. The Audio Video Ladibug will be used for a variety of purposes. This document camera will help: enlarge text for purposes of teaching and explaining key points, project science experiments or activities that the teacher is doing onto the large screen for optimal viewing, show teacher demonstrations of math manipulatives needed for a lesson, and model writing for students. This piece of equipment also has a one – touch video/audio recording and playback component, which will help primary students to record their stories and publish them digitally.
