The implementation of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) provides a unique opportunity for teachers to incorporate higher-level STEM centers in the classroom. STEM bins offer fifth-grade Duffy students a creative and developmentally appropriate form of science and engineering. The bins are a hands-on solution for STEM centers, early finishers, morning work, enrichment centers, fine motor practice, indoor recess, and positive reinforcement of behavior. Each classroom kit contains a variety of open-ended STEM materials for all learners. Teachers can easily differentiate and group students, offer small group instruction and provide opportunities for enrichment.
