Native Spanish speaking students at Sedgwick Middle School will be able to check out authentic, current, age appropriate non-fiction materials currently unavailable to them. The focus is on the science curriculum of the middle school years. With these resources, these students will be able to keep up with science concepts being taught by reading about the concepts in their native language. These materials will also improve or reinforce the students reading comprehension and writing skills in Spanish.
