English Learners at Smith STEM Elementary will develop vocabulary, phonemic awareness and build their phonics skills in engaging ways using game like manipulatives. These materials will increase motivation while using ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) strategies such as visuals and hands on learning. A large magnetic board will be used during google meets which we are conducting during the day.
