Students with special needs require specific instruction in the areas of self-help, daily living, and vocational skills to prepare them for life after graduation. Part of this preparation includes teaching them the skills that will increase their ability to be productive citizens, to the best of their ability. This grant will enable teachers at Hall High School to design and add to existing space to create a home-like environment to help achieve this goal. This new classroom teaching space at Hall High School will allow teachers to work with students to teach them the skills to become more self-reliant.
