This visit aims to enhance the classroom experience by fostering a love of reading and writing among students. By learning directly from a professional author about the storytelling process, students will deepen their appreciation for literature and be inspired to read more widely and write creatively. The visit will support literacy development, student engagement, and joyful reading; key goals of the West Hartford Public Schools.
