A "Field Experience" to our local Outback Steakhouse for a Joey tour will teach students about food preparation as well as cooking and serving. Students will write recipe reviews and compile recipes into a cookbook to be shared throughout the school. Cooking tips will be broadcast daily via video announcements, and the student chefs will visit all classrooms to demonstrate a skill or teach a recipe that aligns with the common core.
