E- readers will be purchased for the students in kindergarten-- grade 5 at Duffy Elementary School. Currently the school has a class set of Nooks but only a few e- readers. This grant will expand the number of available titles at each grade level allowing more students to benefit from these highly motivational tools for reading. Reluctant readers especially are encouraged to read using e readers. Teachers at each grade level will select titles from best seller lists. This technology will benefit the students at Duffy for years to come.
