Students at the West Hartford Achieve post high school program will greatly benefit from receiving a lap top computer and projector that can be used with a whiteboard in their classroom. These students with special needs require specific instruction in the areas of self-help, daily living and vocational skills to prepare for life after graduation. This grant will enable the teacher to work collaboratively with students as it will provide a larger viewing area for all to see and benefit from. Student participation will increase, higher quality resources will be displayed and the teacher can provide interactive learning activities.
