Puppets Come Alive through Literacy!

Students in Grade 2, in collaboration with the Library Media Specialist at Smith STEM Elementary School, will work together to recount fables and folktales and create original scripts based on those morals and lessons. Students will then perform their scripts through the use of puppets. Puppets will strengthen oral language skills and through creative play will inspire storytelling. The grant will fund the purchase of assorted animal puppets.
