This grant will provide adaptive instruments and engaging props like scarves, bean bags, ribbons, and streamers, to make music class more inclusive and accessible for all Wolcott School students. These new resources will empower students of all abilities to actively participate, express themselves, and explore the joy of music. Throughout the year, students will use the materials during class and to prepare a special performance video. The video will be showcased at a school assembly, highlighting their creativity and hard work. This initiative reflects our commitment to inclusive education and supports the goals of the West Hartford music curriculum and the National Core Arts Standards.
