Sixth, seventh and eighth grade students at Sedgwick Middle School celebrate and read the works of the annual nominees for the Nutmeg Award, Connecticut’s Children’s Choice Book Award. This grant will provide multiple copies of books by the featured nominees and the opportunity for students to engage in a Skype Author Event (2 per grade level throughout the year) to interact directly for discussion, questions and answers with the authors.
