SEPTO Grant: The Art of Inclusion: Inspiring Creativity in Students with Disabilities

This grant will bring staff from Southington Community Cultural Arts to provide eight class periods to all students of the Post-Secondary program. Students will immerse themselves in creative experiences and gain confidence in their abilities. Classes will also promote communication and teamwork. Overall, providing art experiences for people with disabilities is not only about fostering creativity and skill development, but also about promoting inclusion, empowerment, and well-being. It allows individuals to assert their identities, communicate their stories, and contribute to the rich tapestry of human expression.
