Rob’s artist in residency program, focuses on fostering the skills of mindfulness and empowerment for students. Once completed the mural will be framed and presented to Duffy in a school wide presentation. This project also includes teaching students how to believe in themselves. By using positive role models, and stories of ordinary people doing amazing things. The children will learn comprehension, collaboration and presentation of knowledge and ideas Common Core Standards. This grant would allow students to participate in collaborative conversations with diverse partners. It will also provide students with the opportunity to speak audibly and express thoughts, feelings, and ideas clearly.
