In this grant, students in fifth grade at Bugbee Elementary School will engage in a 2-day outdoor learning experience called "Nature on Wheels" to supplement and enrich our science curriculum and provide a capstone experience to celebrate the culmination of students' elementary years. The "Nature on Wheels" program provides activities such as, but not limited to, team-building, nature hikes, dissections, scientific experimentation, and field journaling to enhance academic as well as social-emotional learning for the whole child.
