An ELMO Digital Interactive Document Camera and an ELMO Wireless Tablet will be purchased for use in the classrooms at Whiting Lane. The document camera and tablet will aid in the presentation of instruction and will support all areas of the curriculum: reading, writing, math, science and social studies. The zoom feature on the document camera accents specific text , real life objects, and student created materials which can then be added to the classroom blog. The wireless tablet allows the teacher and students to annotate live images captured by the ELMO camera from any vantage point in the room. These two wonderful pieces of technology will provide greater engagement and participation in lessons, access to previously limited materials, and immediate feedback on and sharing of student created work.
