The goal of this project is to provide rigorous, skill and research based math curriculums, enrichment and evaluation materials for students with special needs at Conard high school. These students, who are in grades 9-12, require the most specialized instruction with many hands-on and extension activities designed to bring learning and abstract math concepts to life. In these classes, students are often working on remedial academic and/or daily living skills intended to promote independent living. This project will provide evaluation procedures to monitor student levels of performance as well as student progress, research-based instructional materials including instructors guides, student workbooks, manipulatives, graphic organizers, and a host of digital resources to enrich student learning and boost engagement.
