QAMA Graphing Calculators will be purchased for use by Grade 9 Hall students. Students will use the QAMA Graphing calculators to enter an "estimate" for what they think the answer will be, before the calculator gives them the exact answer. If the estimate is too far off, the calculator will not give the student the answer. This technology will prevent calculators from being a crutch to student learning, and instead they will become more of a useful tool to promote thinking.
