“Fostering Future Scientists”is a grant that enhances the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), all first graders at Braeburn Elementary School will participate in two different “Science in Motion” traveling programs and one assembly show by the Connecticut Science Center. Through these programs: Secret Life of Plants, Sound Breakdown, and the Science of "Suds" assembly first graders will problem solve, observe, evaluate, and communicate information through hands-on experiences, just like scientists. These programs will encourage West Hartford students to explore the science field in the future.
