Weekly Inclusion and Socialization

Weekly Inclusion and Socialization is an inclusive program that brings together high schoolers and post-secondary students to write and perform skits based on themes chosen by the participants. More than 100 students currently participate in the program, representing both high schools and the post-secondary program. The program is entirely student-run and involves acting, singing, and dancing. Students meet once or twice weekly to socialize and rehearse for the culminating performance. Technology, including wireless speakers and microphones, makes the program accessible and allows rehearsals and socialization to take place in hallways or even outside when the weather permits.
