Harvard professor Laurel Thatcher Ulrich once stated that "well behaved women seldom make history". This multi-grade, multi-school interdisciplinary project embodies the message of resilience and advocacy. Our students will create a compilation of stories based on powerful and influential women in society, which they will then read and discuss with younger students. It is designed to develop a global awareness of women throughout history and create a lens for the struggles and victories that women have had over time. The stories are of powerful women who refused compliance and broke through their glass ceilings. Conard students are the voices of these invaluable stories. Their goal is to echo the teachings of influential women and bestow this history on our younger generations.
