Research has shown school-based yoga has positive effects on health, behavior and academic performance. Students at Wolcott Elementary will engage in Yoga in the classroom as each teacher will be given a deck of “Yoga Pretzels” cards. These cards show and teach different yoga positions designed for children and will be used as an effective tool for teachers to create a peaceful and productive classroom.
